Japanese Iris, Hanashobu 'Aoi-no-ue' (scientific name: Iris ensata var. ensata ''Aoi-no-ue' ) is a garden variety of the lodgepole plant 'Iris' of the Iris family.

Edo type, three-eyes, flat flowers, white to light red with bright reddish-purple streaks, inner petals reddish-purple with white covering around the outer petals, outer petals large round and slightly drooping, eye yellow is conspicuous.
