Prunus mume 'Myojo' is a variety of plum tree that is both a flowering plum tree and a fruiting plum tree, Yabai-kei, Yabai-syo. The petals are yellowish-white with wavy edges, double, medium-sized with about 25 petals. The stamens have white threads and yellow anthers. The stamens are clustered in the center. The name of the flower means "Venus" because the color of the flower is pale yellow and the petals are wrapped around the stamen, giving the image of a star. The sepals are reddish purple. The trunk is thick, but the branches are thin.
