What is Canada goldenrod

Canada goldenrod, tall golden rod, yellow-weed or yellow-top, scientific name: Solidago altissima, is aperennial grass of the Asteracdepartment , of the Solidago genus native to North American .Breeding in a sunny Glade and its large and expanding sphere of influence.

Like Japanese mugwort (scientific name: Artemisia princeps), it is considered problematic because it secretes a substance called "allelopathy" from its underground stem that inhibits the germination of other plants, thereby destroying other plants, including native Japanese species. The battle with Miscanthus sinensis (scientific name: Miscanthus sinensis) is especially tremendous.
It produces large conical inflorescences with densely clustered small head flowers. Since it is an insect-mediated flower, it is not considered to be a factor in the onset of pollinosis, unlike wind-borne flowers. Beekeepers use it as a source of nectar in the fall. It is similar to the giant goldenrod (scientific name: Solidago gigantea var. leiophylla), which is in the same family.

Common name: Canada goldenrod, scientific name: Solidago canadensis var. scabra = Solidago altissima, also known as: Seitaka awadachiso, goldenrod (Golden whip), origin: North America, environment: sunny glade, River, plant height: 100-250 cm, leaf shape: lanceolate, leaf length: 20 cm, leaf arrangement: alternate, Leaf margin: lower serrated, flowers: panicles and flowers high: 20-30 cm, flower diameter:0.5~0.7cm head flower, flowering period: Octobe to November, the flower color: yellow
