What is Onion

Pecoros (scientific name: Allium cepa "pekorosu") is a small one of onion (scientific name: Allium cepa) which is a two-year grass or perennial grass of the family Amaryllidaceae native to Central Asia such as northwest India. It is also called small onion, petit onion, baby onion because the rhizome diameter is as small as 3 - 4 cm. It is made by ordinary onion dense and not growing big. Like ordinary onion, peel off and use it for cooking. Because it is small, it is used for stewed dishes ,pickles, or sliced thinly into raw salad.
