Banksia integrifolia , commonly called as Coast banksia (scientific name: Banksia integrifolia) is native to Australia and is an evergreen tree of the family Proteaceae. It grows from Queensland, eastern Australia, in wetlands near the coasts of New South Wales and Victoria. The tree height will be 5-25 m. The leaves are collapsible and leathery, the surface of the leaves is dark green, and the back of the leaves is silvery white. From summer to winter, the inflorescences of the cylinder are stretched and light yellow flowers bloom. After flowering, the inflorescence turns into a tree, becomes a Matsukasa shape, and is spread when the seeds ripen. The genus name “Banksia” is a dedication to the British naturalist Sir Joseph Banks, and the species name “integrifolia” means “all leaves” in Latin.
