Machilus thunbergii is an evergreen trees or shrubs of the Machilus genus of Lauraceae department native to Japan, Taiwan, Korea and China. Yellowish-green flowers that bloom in the spring, red flower after flower tip consists of small round green fruit. Leaves are shiny and leathery, and palmately lobed.
