What is Mrs. George C Hitchcock

Flower Name: "Bull's Eye"

The tropical water lily 'Bull's Eye' (scientific name: Nymphaea cv. Bull’s Eye) is a tropical, day-blooming, dark purplish-red large-flowered horticultural variety with numerous petals.

Flower Name Origin
The variety name "Bull's Eye" means "bull's eye" in English, which refers to the center of a target. It is said that the term originated because bulls' skulls were used as targets in the past, and also because of the prominent appearance of a "bloodshot bull's eye," which made it a target or mark.

"Bull's Eye" in FDTD
The term "Bull's Eye" also appears in electromagnetic wave analysis at Kagiken. According to the Science and Technology Director, "Bull's Eye refers to one of the devices that controls electromagnetic waves."
