Yellow-Fruited Viburnum dilatatum
Xanthocarpum (scientific name: Viburnum dilatatum f. Xanthocarpum) produces yellow fruits and is a horticultural variety of viburnum (scientific name: Viburnum dilatatum), which is native to Japan, the Korean Peninsula and central China, and is a deciduous broad-leaved shrub in the family Adoxaceae.

The Kiminogamazumi (Viburnum dilatatum f. xanthocarpum) is a deciduous shrub with a height of 2–5 meters. The leaves are green, ovate to obovate, with serrated edges, and grow in opposite pairs.
The flowering period is from May to June, producing many small white flowers (0.5–0.8 cm in diameter) in a corymb inflorescence. From September to November, it bears yellow drupes about 0.7 cm in diameter, which are edible.
