What is Bletilla striata
Bletilla striata or called as Hyacinth orchid, Chinese ground orchid or Shiran in Japanese ( scientific name: Bletilla striata) is a hardy perennial grasses of the family orchidaceae native to Japan, Taiwan and China. It is the orchid growing on the ground and makes seven or eight reddish violet florets bloom to raceme to early summer from spring. The leaf is green, and the shape is a slim wide lancet arch or a long oval and has a leaf vein with parallel to lengthwise. The flower name depends on a purple and is in the family orchidaceae, but it has ones of pink ,white, or blue in a color. It is planted in a garden and the park for admiration use, and to use for false corm which is effective to burn and crack, dirt as a folk remedy. Bletilla specific epithet 'striata' means 'striped' in Latin
