Camellia Desire (Camellia japonica 'Desire', scientific name: Dr. Tinsley x Debutante) is a horticultural variety bred by David Feathers (California, USA) from Camellia sinensis 'Dr Tinsely' x Camellia sinensis 'Debu-tante') and bred it to flower in 1973.
The tree is upright, dense, compact, and vigorous. The flowers are light pink with dark pink margins, fully double, medium-sized, with 60 or more petals, 8.5 to 10 cm in diameter, and bloom from January to February. The leaves are dark green, 8.5 cm long, 5 cm wide, elliptic, and bluntly serrate.
