The Camellia Murasaki-no-iori (椿 紫の庵) is a rare purple camellia.
Its leaves are bright green, elongated oval to lanceolate in shape.
It blooms from January to March (winter to spring), producing single, tubular flowers in deep reddish-purple to dark purple, with small-sized blooms (4 cm–7 cm in diameter) and tubular stamens.
