From Kyushu in the Korean peninsula, China and Taiwan native to coastal grassland. Dumpling-shaped flowers in early autumn, leaf axil on purple-blue floret is a collection from the lower to the upper bloom. Flower color is white or pink. Petals out long stamens and pistils.
