Eupatorium laciatum or kikuba fujibakama (Eupatorium laciatum) is a perennial herb native to Japan, the Korean Peninsula, and China, belonging to the Asteraceae family. It prefers moist places such as riverbanks. The plant is about 100 cm tall. The leaves have a short petiole and are divided into lobes similar to the leaves of the Asteraceae, which grow alternately on the branches. From summer to fall, the plant produces clustered inflorescences with light red flowers. The flowers are small, about 0.5 cm in diameter, and are arranged in clusters of about 10 cm in size.
