What is Canada mayflower
Canada mayflower (scientific name: Maianthemum canadense) is native to Canada and is a perennial of the family Asparagaceae. In summer, a white four-petal floret is attached to the general inflorescence that extends from the tip of the stem under a deciduous tree. The flowers are more like Yukizasa, rather than the shape of the Suzuran(Convallaria keiskei) petals. The green leaves are heart-shaped and are attached to each other under the inflorescence. The style is a little thicker and there are 4 stamens. The inflorescence with two leaves and white flowers is named after a crane flying in the sky.
