Papaver fauriei or Rishiri hinageshi (Scientific name: Papaver fauriei) is an endemic species to Rishiri Island. It is a perennial herb in the family Papaveraceae. It grows wild in the sandy and gravelly areas of the high mountains of Mount Rishiri in Hokkaido. It produces yellow four-petaled flowers on the tips of the stems in summer.
