What is Physarum polycephalum

Physarum polycephalum or character dust or the mozihokori, (scientific name: Physarum polycephalum) is a species of protist (noncellular slime mold, true slime mold, and deformed fungus) distributed worldwide and included in the phylum Amoebozoa, which is neither a plant, animal, nor fungus.
There are not two sexes, male and female, but as many as 720 species. They can be found hiding in familiar places such as under dead leaves, rotting wood, and fallen leaves in parks. The fruiting bodies resemble mushrooms (in the more macroscopic world) or bean sprouts, with a long, slender stalk and a monocot at the head. They are 0.01 to 0.15 cm tall and grow in clusters. The fruiting bodies can be observed with the naked eye, with the lower part of the stalk (orange) and the upper part (green in the case of blue-letter dust) changing from green to yellow.
They feed on fungal spores, bacteria, and other microorganisms. Letter dust is usually a unicellular organism, but it transforms greatly when capturing food. It is used as a model organism for experiments.

Common name:Physarum polycephalum or character dust or the mozihokori, scientific name: Physarum polycephalum, height: 0.01-0.015 cm, fruiting body color: pattern (orange) + coccus (green to yellow), coccus shape: subglobose to petal-like (like a yellow flower).
