What is Murechidori

Murechidori(Stenoglottis cv. (fimbriata×longifolia) is a non cold hardy evergreen perennial herb of the genus "Stenoglottis" of the orchid family, native to South Africa, and is a hybrid between the "Fimbriata species (S. fimbriata)" and the "Stenoglottis It is an interspecific hybrid between "S. longifolia" and "S. longifolia".
It is also known as "quail-billed plover" because of the black spots on its leaves that resemble a quail's pattern.
The plant is 15 to 30 cm tall. The leaves are rosette-shaped, green with black spots like quail eggs, and lance-shaped, 10-20 cm long, with wavy serrations on the leaf margins.From September to October, it produces a 20-cm-long raceme at the tip of the flower stalk, which bears 15 to 20 orchid-shaped pink flowers 1 to 1.2 cm in diameter, similar to staggered flowers. The lip petals are elongated and white to light red with two rows of dark red spots in a row of about three. It is often potted in greenhouses.
