What is Kerria plena

Kerria plena or Yae Yamabuki (Kerria japonica cv. plena) is a gardening variety of the deciduous shrub Japanese kerria(scientific name: Kerria japonica) which is in the family Rosaceae native to Japan and China. It has double flowers. Unlike the single-petal flower "Yamabuki", this species does not bear fruit because its stamens are double-petaled and the pistils are degenerate.
